About GML
GML Electronics Pty is a Company founded in 1988 to provide boutique solutions within the Electronics Industry.
It was formed out of work with the University of Sydney in the 70s and 80s in the research areas of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering Electronics.
Later it entered the Telecommunications sector with the start up of VodaFone AU providing Telemetry and Network expertise, later connecting with Optus and Telstra.
Our main initiatives during this time were Embedded Control System, Network Telemetry and manufacture of IP site equipment of our design
An offshoot of your expertise has been training courses for Engineers and Technicians in Network Solutions at hardware level and Radio Comms Systems Based upon our early work with the Dept of defence (NAVY))
Continuing on from this we are involved in Linux Development, particularly embedded solutions which has caused the business to grow steadily into the Computer Systems support industry
for all types of Operating Systems.
With the need for high speed internet GML developed our own Data Link systems which has now been generally migrated to StarLink. Inevitably starting our move into domestic services
GML is a one stop shop for Engineered services.
GML designs and builds custom solutions. We provide quality, on time, on-site services ranging from Domestic through Commercial to Industrial IT and Electronic Systems. Throughout our site you will find a few brief capability statements. Our basic tenant is that if our customer needs it, we can build it. Our full workshop is not only equipped for proper component level repair but fully equipped with precision mechanical tooling such as MIG / TIG, Lathes and Mills.
GML is a 'proper' Engineering Workshop not just an Office.
